The Dallas Morning News reported this morning that Senator Ted Cruz travelled with President Obama on presidential aircraft Air Force One on July 11 to attend the police memorial being held in Dallas for those police murdered during the July 7 massacre.

Cruz was the only Republican reported to be on the flight with the USA president.

The incident has brought controversy because as a Republican, Cruz has profusely criticized Obama's performance. As well, Obama is Democrat and both parties are locked in the adversity of the 2016 presidential election campaign.

Cruz has recently received much criticism from Republicans for not endorsing 2016 Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump for president as he and the other Republicans had publicly pledged during his speech to the Republican National Convention two days ago.

Cruz is not the only former-Republican contender to ride with Obama on Air Force One. Marco Rubio, who also ran for the 2016 Republican nominee and lost, joined Obama on Air Force One to attend the memorial for the victims of the Orlando nightclub massacre on June 12.

Cruz and Rubio were each locked against Trump in fierce, often ill-willed competition during the 2016 Republican Party presidential primaries.

These events appear to be apart of a recent common pattern among politicians in light of USA Attorney General Loretta Lynch's exclusive plane meeting with former-USA president Bill Clinton. At the time, Hillary Clinton, 2016 Democrat presidential nominee and wife to Bill, was under investigation from the FBI for mishandling classified emails.

Political pundit Bill Still has said that many analysts are wondering if taking plane rides together is a way for political elites to conduct clandestine meetings.
